M.D. McIntyre is a writer and researcher living in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She loves reading and writing essays that are rich in place and diverse in form. She spent her formative years in Washington D.C., Albuquerque, North Dakota, and New Hampshire, before landing in the Twin Cities.

Her essays have appeared in Electric Lit, The Rumpus, Fourth Genre, Sycamore Review, The Southampton Review, Storm Cellar, Rock & Sling, Atticus Review, Midwest Review, and other lovely journals online and in print.
